United States Eighth Circuit

US v. Grajeda, 06-4120

A conviction for a drug-related offense is affirmed over a claim of erroneous denial of a motion to suppress where the totality of the circumstances indicated that defendant's consent was an act of free will and an independent intervening cause of the discovery of contraband in her vehicle, sufficient to cure the taint of any prior Fourth Amendment violation.
