US v. Milam, 06-4076

A conviction for aiding and abetting the possession with intent to distribute of methamphetamine is affirmed where: 1) the evidence was sufficient to support the conviction; 2) there was no abuse of discretion in denying a motion for a mistrial and allowing the jury to recess at the end of the first day of deliberations without asking them whether they could reach a verdict; and 3) claims of ineffective assistance of counsel should be raised in a collateral proceeding.
