Guinn v. Kemna, 06-1344

Denial of a petition for a writ of habeas corpus challenging a conviction for first-degree robbery, first-degree assault, and armed criminal action, is affirmed over claims of error regarding: 1) the trial court's failure to allow four witnesses to testify to certain hearsay statements; 2) a refusal to permit cross-examination of a detective about his investigation, or lack thereof, of another individual as a suspect; 3) a combination of the first two claims; and 4) the district court's fact-finding.
