United States Eighth Circuit
Med. Liability Mut. Ins. Co. v. Alan Curtis LLC, 06-4055
In a declaratory judgment action to clarify insurance company's obligation under insurance policies to defend defendants in state court negligence action brought by intervenor, denial of intervenor's motion to intervene as a matter of right under Rule 24(a)(2) is affirmed because intervenor had no cognizable or legally protectable interest in the action at hand, and the district court did not abuse its discretion in denying her permissive intervention either.
