United States Eighth Circuit

US v. Eizember, 06-3011

A conviction kidnapping, possession of a firearm in connection with a crime of violence, and armed carjacking, is affirmed over claims that the district court should have twice declared a mistrial, first when a witness recounted defendant's comment that he was on death row and later when the jury became privy to extraneous information about defendant's criminal record.
