United States Eighth Circuit
Ruminer v. Gen. Motors Corp., 06-2192
In a product liability suit alleging that injuries plaintiff sustained in an accident were a result of defects in the air bag and seat belt, summary judgment for General Motors is affirmed over claims that the district court erred by: 1) requiring plaintiff to offer evidence of a specific design or manufacturing defect; and 2) failing to recognize that the circumstances surrounding the accident permitted a conclusion that General Motors was responsible for the injuries at issue.
