Xiong v. Gonzales, 06-2007

An alien who enters the U.S. as a refugee, subsequently adjusts his status to a permanent lawful resident, and is thereafter convicted of an aggravated felony or a crime of moral turpitude may be placed in removal proceedings, even though his refugee status was never terminated.
