United States Eighth Circuit

US v. Honarvar, 06-2713

Convictions arising from husband and wife's scheme of fraudulently obtaining funds from various financing institutions are affirmed over claims that: 1) questions regarding annual household income on disputed credit card applications were too ambiguous to form the basis of prosecution for false statements; 2) insufficient evidence supported the convictions; and 3) the judgment and sentence on bank fraud and false statement offenses violated the Double Jeopardy Clause.
