US v. Aldaco, 06-2533

A conviction for drug- and firearm-related offenses is affirmed over defendant's claims of error regarding: 1) denial of motions to suppress evidence obtained from a search of his wallet two to three weeks after his arrest and from statements made to police four and five days after his arrest; 2) denial of a motion to dismiss the indictment as violative of the Speedy Trial Act and his Sixth Amendment speedy trial right; and 3) the sufficiency of the evidence.
