United States Eighth Circuit
Schwan's Sales Enters., Inc. v. SIG Pack, Inc., 06-1571
An order awarding prejudgment interest to defendant on a breach of contract counterclaim is affirmed where the issue of prejudgment interest is a procedural matter for conflicts-of-laws purposes under Minnesota law, and the district court did not err in applying Minnesota's prejudgment interest statute in the absence of a provision in the parties' contract expressly governing procedural matters.
