United States Eighth Circuit

Ringo v. Roper, 05-4005

Denial of a petition for a writ of habeas corpus in a death penalty case is affirmed over claims that counsel was ineffective in failing to investigate and present testimony at both the guilt and penalty phases of the trial that petitioner suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and that the state trial court erred by denying a discovery request for the racial and gender composition of the grand jury that indicted him.
