Snider v. US, 05-3636

In a suit brought by certain taxpayers against the government alleging numerous illegal disclosures of taxpayer return information by an IRS special agent, a judgment in favor of taxpayers is affirmed in part, and reversed in part as to a punitive damages award with respect to disclosures for which the district court assessed statutory damages, and vacated as to an award of expert witness fees.
