United States Eighth Circuit
Reter v. R.R. Retirement Bd., 05-4290
Denial of a claim under the Railroad Retirement Act (RRA) for disability annuity benefits, based on former railroad employee's diminished hearing capacity and pain in his back, shoulders, legs, arms, and hands, is affirmed where: 1) a hearing officer's credibility finding was adequately supported, and the evidence provided ample support for a conclusion that petitioner's only medically determinable impairment was his hearing loss; and 2) petitioner failed to show that he had a medically severe impairment or combination of impairments that prevented him from working as a web designer or graphic artist.
