United States Eighth Circuit

US v. Willie, 05-4415

A conviction and sentence for possession of pseudoephedrine while knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that it would be used to manufacture a controlled substance is affirmed over claims that: 1) a search of a motel room where the pseudoephedrine was found was unlawful; 2) the presence of other people in the motel room rendered the evidence of knowing drug possession too ambiguous to support the conviction; and 3) there was insufficient evidence connecting firearms to the offense.
