United States Eighth Circuit
Arraleh v. County of Ramsey, 05-4474
In a suit against a former employer and supervisor under Title VII and state law alleging discrimination on the basis of race and national origin, and retaliation and hostile work environment claims, summary judgment for defendants is affirmed where: 1) even if plaintiff established a prima facie case of intentional discrimination, he failed to present evidence sufficient to support a finding that the County's declared reason for declining to hire him was pretextual; 2) summary judgment for defendants was proper on a retaliation claim; and 3) the evidence did not support a hostile work environment claim.
