Barnes v. US, 05-2329

Dismissal of an action brought by the owner and operator of a business that processed and packaged chickens under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) is affirmed where the federal government violated no state-law duty owed to plaintiff that would permit a suit under the FTCA with regards to inspections performed by the Food Safety and Inspection Service.
