US v. Quezada, 05-3254
Denial of a motion to suppress in a prosecution for being a felon in possession of a firearm is affirmed where a deputy entering an apartment to serve an individual with a child protection order had a reasonable belief that an emergency was at hand, and a shotgun that he saw protruding from beneath defendant was admissible under the plain-view doctrine.
