Judgment remanding a claim for long term disability benefits pursuant to ERISA to an administrator for further proceedings is affirmed where: 1) nonprofit defendant's employee benefit plan was not exempt from ERISA as a "church plan:; 2) the district court properly applied an abuse of discretion standard in a ruling; and 3) defendant abused its discretion when denying plaintiff further benefits based solely upon a self-reported symptoms limitation.
