Summary judgment for defendant on claims made under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and state-law causes of action for fraud and deceit is affirmed where defendant was a debt collector under the FDCPA, but did not violate the FDCPA with regards to its recovery of collection fees on plaintiff's dishonored checks.
