United States Eighth Circuit

US v. MAHASIN, 03-1672

Evidence was sufficient to support convictions on drug, firearm and attempt to murder a federal witness charges. No error in admitting tapes of telephone calls defendant made while in jail, as the calls were made in furtherance of the conspiracy to murder a witness and the participants were properly identified; permitting a witness to exercise his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent was not error.
