United States Eighth Circuit

US v. LOGAN, 03-2902

District court erred in suppressing package seized following an investigatory request from a commercial mail receiving agency; the officer's observations and his knowledge concerning common characteristics of drug packages provided a reasonable and articulable suspicion to detain the package and subject it to a dog's sniff.
