United States Eighth Circuit
MCGEE v. RELIANCE STANDARD LIFE INS. CO., 03-2372
District court erred in finding that the decision to terminate plaintiff's long-term benefits constituted an abuse of the plan administrator's discretion. The medical records were inconsistent, and did not provide reliable objective evidence of testing or other proof to support a finding of long-term disability.
