United States Eighth Circuit
WEYERS v. LEAR OPERATIONS CORP., 02-3732
In an action under the ADEA, the district court erred in refusing to permit defendant-employer to impeach plaintiff with her prior sworn statements to the EEOC, as the inconsistencies between those statements and her trial testimony bore directly on her credibility. District court also erred in determining plaintiff's team leader to be her supervisor, as he could not hire, fire, promote or discipline employees.
