United States Eighth Circuit

TRAMMEL v. SIMMONS FIRST BANK OF SEARCY, 02-3560

Social contact between district court judge's law clerk and one of defendant's officers did not require the district court judge to recuse himself where the clerk had no contact with the case; plaintiff failed to show that stated reason for his discharge was a pretext for age discrimination, and failed to support his claim that defendant retaliated against him for filing an EEOC complaint.
