United States Eighth Circuit

KESSLER v. NAT'L ENTER., INC., 99-4249

The liability obligations of the transferee under the Arkansas Time-Share Act, Ark. Code Ann. 18-14-601, are not limited to record-keeping functions because the developer sells not only an interest in real property, but also in time, and the time-share regime would be meaningless unless the continued interests in the time-shares are protected.
