United States Eighth Circuit
US v. GABE, 99-2567
Admission of hearsay testimony is harmless error where the testimony is cumulative because the victim testified and the defendant did not. Where sexual abuse of a previous victim is almost identical to the description of the abuse at issue in the trial, prior bad acts may be admissible to show the defendant's propensity to commit the crime.
