United States Seventh Circuit

US v. Morgan, 18-2751

Affirmed. The district court did not violate a man's Fifth Amendment right to be free from double jeopardy when they made a second attempt to convict him of possession of methamphetamines with intent to deliver. The court could retry a case in which the jury was deadlocked without implicating double jeopardy.
