United States Seventh Circuit
Williams v. Norfolk Southern Corp., 18-2517
In a personal injury case, held that a teenager who was struck by a train while running from a police officer could not hold the railway liable for his injuries, because he was more than 50 percent at fault for the accident. Affirmed summary judgment in favor of the railway, in this diversity case applying Indiana's comparative fault law.
