Lapre v. City of Chicago, 17-3024
Held that the City of Chicago was not liable for the death of a teenager who committed suicide in his jail cell while in lockup, in a civil rights lawsuit brought by his mother. Affirmed summary judgment for the city, finding no evidence of deliberate indifference.
