Held that a former inmate who suffered injuries from two assaults by other inmates could proceed with his Eighth Amendment claims against a prison unit manager, who allegedly showed deliberate indifference by failing to protect the inmate from gang violence at the prison. Reversed summary judgment in relevant part.
