United States Seventh Circuit

Ochoa v. State Farm Life Insurance Co., 18-1336

Affirmed the dismissal of claims brought by life insurance policyholders who were dissatisfied with the dividends paid by their policies. The policies guaranteed policyholders annual dividends from their insurers' surpluses, but allowed the insurers to decide the dividend amounts. Two separate proposed class actions were consolidated on this appeal.
