United States Seventh Circuit

US v. Brixen, 18-1636

Affirmed the denial of a motion to suppress cellphone evidence showing that a man had communicated online inappropriately with a 14-year-old female. During the arrest, the detective illustrated that the man was the correct suspect by sending a message to his phone from an undercover Snapchat account and witnessing the notification appear on the phone screen.
