United States Seventh Circuit
Martinez v. Astrue, 10-1957
In a consolidated appeal, district court's affirmance of the Social Security Administration's denials of petitioners' applications for disability benefits and supplemental security income benefits is affirmed in part, reversed in part and remanded where: 1) two of the three cases require reversal as infirmities similar to those found in Spiva are present; but 2) the third case does not require reversal as the administrative law judge's opinion was thorough and well supported.
