United States Seventh Circuit
US v. Turner, 08-4159
Conviction of defendant for drug conspiracy and firearms crime and a sentence of 300 months imprisonment are affirmed where: 1) defendant's claims that there was insufficient evidence to support the district court's findings that he was a member of the conspiracy in January 2005 and in making its drug quantity determinations are rejected; 2) the district court did not err in its consideration of the sentencing disparities; and 3) there is no abuse of discretion as defendant's sentence is substantively reasonable.
