US v. Dunson, 08-1691
District court's imposition of a sentence of 110-months' imprisonment upon a defendant convicted of possessing a firearm as a felon is affirmed as, although the defendant was not sentenced as an armed career criminal, this circuit interprets "violent felony" as used in section 2K2.1 the same was as "crime of violence" in section 924(e), and as such, the district court properly classified defendant's prior conviction for fleeing a police officer in a vehicle as a crime of violence.
