United States Seventh Circuit

US v, Villalpando, 09-1263

Defendant's conviction and sentence for possession and intent to distribute cocaine is affirmed as the incriminating statements defendant gave to police after his arrest were voluntary because defendant's choice to reveal the cocaine in his safe was rationally made within the context of negotiations and not the result of false promises made by the police.
