Conviction for drug crimes is reversed and remanded where: 1) the district court erred when it refused to grant a continuance after defendant's partner changed his testimony at the last minute as the changed testimony was a crucial piece of evidence the defense counsel should have had an opportunity to develop; and 2) the court correctly concluded that defendant's statements from the May 11 interrogations were admissible.
