United States Seventh Circuit
US v. Berma-Boone, 08-1582
Conviction and sentence for drug crimes is affirmed where: 1) district court did not abuse its discretion in denying defendant's motion for a mistrial as the court cured any error incurred by improper testimony and the other challenged statements did not constitute hearsay; and 2) the court did not err in finding that defendant obstructed justice by providing perjured testimony, resulting in a two-level enhancement of his sentence.
