In a gender discrimination action, district court's grant of defendant's motion for judgment as a matter of law is affirmed where there was insufficient evidence to prove her Title VII claim for any rational jury to find in her favor. Additionally, it was appropriate to enter judgment as a matter of law before plaintiff concluded her case-in-chief as the evidence plaintiff submitted and planned to submit actually defeated her claim.
