United States Seventh Circuit
Villano v. Astrue, 08-2150
Denial of an application for disability insurance benefits and supplemental security income benefits is vacated and remanded where: 1) the ALJ failed to build a logical bridge between the evidence and his conclusion that applicant's testimony was not credible; 2) the ALJ's analysis of the applicant's limitations did not demonstrate that he had appropriate reasons for rejecting them; 3) the ALJ erred in concluding that applicant had a generalized skill of "judgment" that was somehow transferable to new jobs in a different field; and 4) the ALJ mistakenly concluded that applicant could perform 15,400 jobs when the VE had identified only 1,549 jobs.
