United States Seventh Circuit

DANKS v. DAVIS, 02-2971

Prisoner's petition for habeas relief was properly denied. State courts did not deviate from Supreme Court precedent in rejecting his speedy trial argument; most of the delay was attributable to his own incompetency, and the remaining delay did not prejudice his defense.
