United States Seventh Circuit
US v. Sims, 08-1348
Defendant's conviction for illegal possession of a gun is affirmed. Although the search warrant lacked a particular description of the things to be found, the "inevitable discovery" doctrine allowed the introduction of the evidence discovered in the search.
