United States Seventh Circuit

US v. Morris, 08-2329

In an appeal from a conviction for attempting to transport a minor across state lines to engage in illegal sexual conduct, attorney's motion to withdraw upon filing an Anders brief is granted and appeal dismissed where the fact that the person defendant was trying to entice was in fact neither underage nor a law enforcement officer was not a defense to a charge of attempted illegal sexual contact with a minor.
