United States Seventh Circuit
US v. Burton, 07-1323
Sentence for bank robbery is affirmed where 1) the district court had jurisdiction to enter a new and more complete sentencing memorandum when the case was already on appeal; and 2) the issuance of the new memorandum did not deprive defendant of his right to be present at a critical phase of his trial.
