United States Seventh Circuit
US v. Harris, 07-2195
Conviction and sentence on drug and firearm charges is affirmed where: 1) various challenged evidentiary rulings were proper; and 2) a sentence entered under the career-offender guideline raises no Kimbrough problem because, to the extent that it treats crack cocaine differently from powder cocaine, the disparity arises from a statute, not from the advisory guidelines.
