United States Seventh Circuit
IFC Credit Corp. v. Burton Indus., Inc., 07-2768
In a suit over a lease for telecommunications equipment, summary judgment for defendant-lessee is affirmed where: 1) the Illinois parol evidence rule does not bar a court from considering additional documents executed at the same time as an integrated contract; and 2) analyzed collectively, the documents that made up the lease in question contained a condition precedent which was not met, and no lease agreement was thereby formed.
