Denial of a petition for habeas corpus is affirmed where: 1) petitioner's guilty plea was knowing and voluntary; 2) petitioner did not need to be informed of the possibility of registration as a sex offender since it was a collateral, rather than a direct, result of his plea; 3) a challenge to a sentence of registration as a sex offender is not cognizable in habeas; 4) a court does not have "pendent" jurisdiction over non-cognizable habeas claims; and 5) petitioner did not establish that the state court's finding on his claim of ineffective assistance of counsel was based on an unreasonable determination of the facts.
