US v. Rogan, 06-4144
In a civil action by the US government under the False Claims Act against the principal manager of a medical center, judgment for the US is affirmed where: 1) the omission of information related to illegal kickbacks on bills presented to Medicare and Medicaid was material; 2)the U.S. relied on the omissions; 3) the district court's evidentiary findings were supported by the record; and 4) the monetary award was not excessive.
