Olympia Express, Inc. v. Linee Aeree Italiane, SPA, 07-1708

In a state law contract action against Alitalia Airlines that was removed to federal court under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, a jury verdict for plaintiffs is reversed and remanded where Alitalia's change in status from a state-owned enterprise to a private company after the filing of the lawsuit did not affect the FSIA's bar on jury trials.
