US v. England, 06-2381

Conviction for possession of a firearm by a felon, witness tampering, and threatening a witness is affirmed where: 1) defendant made a knowing and voluntary decision to represent himself at trial; and 2) there was sufficient evidence to support the allegations of tampering with and threatening witnesses. Defendant's sentence is vacated and remanded where the district court did not consider the potential disparity that may arise from the sentence.
